How commissions are calculated (and why they never double-pay)

By Downlyne Team · June 6, 2026 · 1 min read

Commissions can feel like a black box. Here's how ours stays transparent and fair.

It runs on a schedule

Earnings accrue as your team buys, and a cycle closes on a set schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly). When a cycle closes, accrued commissions are paid into your earnings wallet.

It can't pay you twice

Every commission is tied to a specific economic event (an order, a join). If anything is ever re-processed, the system recognizes the event and refuses to pay for it again. So a glitch or a retry can never inflate your balance — or anyone else's.

Refunds are handled cleanly

If an order is refunded, the commissions it generated are reversed with matching ledger entries. Nothing is deleted; everything is auditable.

The result: an earnings number you can trust.
